I have always hated the subject English and I still do, but coming to classes every day was always an interesting... What's the word? Experience. I'm just kidding. I really did love this semester in your class and I'm not bullshitting you for extra brownie points. I love how interactive you are with your students because a lot of professors at the university really fail to do this. I think that was my favorite part of the entire class. You actually care about whatís going on outside of the classroom, not just schoolwork and whether or not we turn in our assignments on time. And you actually tell us some things that are going on in your life too. I also really liked reading out of the Boyle book and knew upon reading "Modern Love" that this course wasn't going to be like most 1200 classes. I found the ten-minute free writes to be really helpful. These assignments really opened my eyes to how much I depend on my phone/computer for autocorrect and spellcheck (and my lack of creativeness). I donít want to ruin it for future students and you add more work to your course because of my upcoming comment, but I liked that there wasnít a lot of work outside of class, besides writing papers and our readings of course. For my 1100 class, we had quizzes online every week, which got really annoying. I also liked how you gave us full explanations on papers for what we did wrong or right, so we could take those comments and improve on future papers. I know it must get annoying and tiring to spend so much time on each paper, so I appreciate that.

As for things I didn't like about the course, I have two words that I will type in all caps to emphasize my hatred: FRIDAY CLASSES. But I know that wasn't your fault.

So, thanks for a great semester and that's basically itÖ
