For this assignment I think that the biggest problem that I will have will be to not sound bias. I feel that because I have such a strong opinion about this topic that I have to be very careful on not sounding bias. I think with a topic like this and for this kind of assignment it is crucial to not give my opinion on anything because that will invalidate my whole paper. For this paper I know that I have to be very careful with the articles that I use because they canít be bias either or else my claims will be invalid too. I think that using the method of presenting one side of the argument at a time might be the best option for my paper because that way I wonít get so caught up in the details of the argument because that is where I feel I will be more likely to give me opinion. For the sources that I have so far I think that I will have to work on finding more sources that are against the DREAM Act because most of the ones that do have speak mostly of being in favor of the DREAM Act and those that I have against it are most opinion bases and do not include much evidence to validate their claim. For this assignment because I will be using the articles from my annotated bibliography I have already read the articles and have a good grasp on what they are about so I havenít actually learned anything knew about the DREAM Act since I did the research for it in the previous assignment. But because I already read them I have to keep in mind how to use the information in the articles so that I only use actual statements that will back up my claim and not just use the authorsí opinion. I also have a problem when I read so many articles on one topic, they all blur and it have to make sure I am keeping track of where I got my information from because I do not want to accidentally plagiaries.
