Groups are a good option or your can create pages. I created a page for my English class. My students can like and view the page, but they can't see my facebook. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Wechs-Pickering-English/119441098151883

You might also use edmodo. It's sort of like an educational facebook. Students can use this and parents can get a log in that lets them see a specific students assignments.

        I think that sounds like a good idea. I like that you can pick and choose what you want accessible for the group page!
