I've read an article on this before, and I love it! Right at the end of the year, I did one with my high schoolers, and they thought it was so awesome because they know who had written the tweet. They were far more connected with that than any sentence correct activity I've ever come up with.

      That is awesome! I bet celebrities are hating that though. Instead of getting tweets for how wonderful they are, they are finally receiving some corrective criticism. I think thats great for students ... more

        To honest I hate when people correct other people's grammar or spelling on facebook! We all make mistakes haha. But I thought this was a fun alternative to editing worksheets! My kids correct me,... more

          Karie, I like this idea too, but like you, it bothers me a little bit when people correct other people on social networking. However, it sounds like it would be really engaging!
