The Reason

The "pretty" factor was honestly one of the reasons I picked Pinterest. I have found that I respond better to "pretty" websites and "pretty" books. I just assume kids do too. Now, if I need a nitty-gritty professional article, I of course don't really care what that looks like. Then it's all about content. But if you can get rich content and it can look attractive, why not do it that way?!

And, I was hesitant to use anything with too much text because of the lower reading levels I anticipate my students having. Of course having those students read is super important, but I think it is wise to have contextual pictures along with text for these students. So Pinterest was a very purposeful decision for me. I just need to tinker with it more! Thank you so much for all the ideas and input! You're helping me gather my thoughts with this!!
