It is always nice to work with something that you are familiar with. It is also great to think about the parents and teachers and their access with the program. Pinterest is probably one of the better known programs by parents. I liked reading your point about the argument that it is a feminine site. I too agree that I only see mainly women using the site. I am sure there are sites that tend to draw in certain sexes. I think too with elementary education being a dominate profession for women, pinterest is probably used more with teachers than any other site. I think your boards are great! I wouldn't get too many at first, to introduce the idea with students and parents!
