I also use Pinterest for many reasons. I have thought about creating an account so that students can access it. I agree with the downfall of not being able to access these social bookmarking sites at school. We have so many things blocked that it really creates a disadvantage at times.

          I know of ways to get around streaming you tube videos but that is all. There are so many great things to incorporate into the classroom that is blocked. It truly is sad!

                It would be great if the parents spoke up. I would LOVE to be able to use social bookmarking in my classes. I wish we could email our districts asking them to unblock these sites so we could use... more
