After writing the narrative I can say that I am proud of what I wrote about. Writing about my cousinís addiction was very hard for me but I am proud that I did it because I think it has been the most impactful thing in my life thus far. Itís hard to write my cousin because I recently just found out all the details about everything that happened. I knew all through the years about the basics of what was going on but recently my cousin personally told me the truth and all the details. I also get upset talking about him because it is extremely difficult to see someone going through the struggle of overcoming addiction. However, I am apprehensive about whether I got across in my paper how the actions of my cousin have truly affected me. I know I said it clearly in my paper as my thesis and in the conclusion but I hope that by reading the paper you can actual feel the emotions I went through. My narrative may have been too much of a story line with little interaction but I wanted to share his whole story because every action he made impacted me deeply. The narrative would have been boring if I constantly stated how it affected me the whole time. I started preparing for the paper a couple days ahead of the due date. I went to the no breathing floor of the library and wrote on a piece of paper the major incidents that happened due to my cousinís addiction. Then I started typing the story from beginning to end of everything that my cousin has done that left an imprint on me. Then I had my roommate ask me what my paper was about and after telling her I used that for my introduction. The Sunday before the paper was due I went back to the library on the no breathing floor and added my conclusion. I think emailed my paper to a friend so he could help fix it. After fixing grammar and spelling mistakes I reread my narrative and then printed it.
