For my personal narrative, I feel proud that I finished it and got a first draft to you with so much time left to review it and correct it. Usually I procrastinate as much as I can, but Iím proud to say that this paper was different. I started it pretty early, and forced myself to get it finished with enough time for you to give me suggestions on how to make it better. I guess Iím just kind of scatter-brained, because I actually wrote it out of order to begin with. I would get ideas and write them (type them) down, and then later place them accordingly into my paper as I went. So I think I actually wrote my conclusion first, then proceeded to jot down various ideas for my body paragraphs, then wrote my introduction, then kept adding to my body paragraphs, rearranging ideas and stories as needed in order to make the paper flow in chronological order. For the most part, I am pretty sure I wrote the whole paper at one time. My mind works way better if I can sit down to start something, and finish it right then and there, without any major distractions or breaks. Although I am somewhat confident about my paper since you read it and told me how to fix it, I am still scared about what you might say about the final draft just because Iíve always been self conscious about my writing. (Writing is not exactly my forte.) There is obviously always room for improvement, however I do not always know what to do in order to improve. I feel apprehensive that I did not correct everything that I could have, that I did not proof read well enough, and that I made careless mistakes. I also felt unsure about my topic for a while, so I am also worried that I may not have chosen the strongest topic. It was difficult for me to find an event that really impacted my life. Regardless, I really do hope that the corrections and suggestions you have for my essay with help me in becoming a better and more confident writer.
