I agree that the teachers' voices are often overlooked and underutilized in decision making. I also think that the students themselves will have a stronger voice because we are intent on "listening" or paying more systematic attention to what they need. We can't be perfect, but we can correct ourselves when needed. By the same token, our students are not perfect either. But this is a way to use our imperfections for the greater good.
