I totally agree with you Melissa. I am constantly asking myself if what I did could be done better and if my instruction is effective. Some teachers are complacent in their teaching and simply come to work to do a job. But teachers should be conducting informal research in their class everyday in order to met the needs of their students. Once a teacher stops growing, I believe the students stop as well.
