After reading chapter six I really enjoyed the strategies of looking at what the data means and what the plan would be now that the teacher has fully summarized data collected. This to me is the heart of teaching, knowing what needs to be implemented. The obvious benefit then would be students who are really learning in your class.

The frequency is something that I wonder about. Is it beneficial to have a specific focus for the beginning of the year based on reflection from last year? I like that our study has focused on one specific area and I am able to see data reflect what is working and what isn't working, where I should go from here, etc. I feel that starting each year with a research question in mind to collect data from would be very helpful to my students' success and my teaching.

In terms of my specific study, I wonder what themes will show up, if any. My study seems to have several different parts to it because we are studying how differentiation aids student growth. Will there be clear themes and if not, did I do everything wrong?
