My colleagues and I give the students several opportunities to use and build graphic organizers and foldables. I know they are older than your students - but good things work for everyone - regardless of age. I agree that there can be too many types of organizers to overwhelm. You bring up good things to think about. I just brought up foldables. Do you consider them as graphic organizers as well?
