I agree. I think that it reminds me that I still have some control over dealing with the academic issues that arise in my classroom. This gives me a tool to isolate a problem and document the things that I have tried to solve it. I think that you are right on with talking about remembering to do those interventions that are easier to implement that require fewer resources. I think we overlook those because they don't seem fancy enough, but they are the front lines.

          I think you shared something about this for another class. But other than what you shared, I am unfamiliar with this particular method of pre-teaching vocabulary. Sounds interesting.
