I found that it saves a whole class period. With a warm up/review of homework/agenda time, I usually only have time for one big thing, which would be a PowerPoint lecture review. Now I have a class time for application of what ever we reviewed, so I feel like I can cover more.

What I like best is that students are really responding to it in an educational way. They like the videos because it helps them and their retention level has been really high so far.

Susan, I have also used my Voice Memos on my phone, computer, iPad to record. Then I email it to myself and upload it to my website or I leave it on the iPad for them to get in class.

I agree that taped readings are the most beneficial. It was really easy to get set up because all year I use my website, so students are really familiar with it. I just showed them the tab for their... more
