We included letters, sight words, classmateís names, color words, days of the week, months of the year, list of ideas to write about if students are struggling with a topic, and the Letterland characters. Yes, labeling is a great way for students to sound out words to express what they are drawing in their pictures. Some of them are able to write sight words and sound out on their own but there are some who still need a lot of help.
