As for technology, when we are revising some of our writing, I encouraged my students to think of synonyms on their own/with their partner to improve their writing but if they couldn't come up with anything I let them use my classroom computers/iPad to use Thesaurus.com. But as for now that is the only technology I use. In the future, I would like to take the Text Talk lessons and make them into a smart board notebook lesson so engage students in that manner. But I need to finish Grad school before I take on a task like that.
