Joyce gives each owner the option of OSS/vasectomy or ESN. Some chose OSS/vasectomy and some chose ESN in each litter. We will see how it works out. With OSS/vasectomy, you can convert to spay/neuter at a later time if you find the OSS/vasectomy to be problematic.

I know what you mean about the judgy looks you get with an intact dog. I would hate that too. Up until very recently, the dangly bits were viewed as a sign of irresponsibility. Of course, now we are looking at it in a different way. I figure I'll be judged some way or other anyway, so I might as well do the best for my dog that I can. And in the dog sports world, it doesn't seem to be so judged. I look at it that the judgy people don't really know me or my dog and probably not what's best for either of us.
