The difference between writing the Boyle paper and the personal narrative was that the narrative was just explaining who I am and how I got to be that way to someone who didnít know before while for the Boyle paper I had more of a direct approach considering that the reader of the paper had already read the stories. It was different because the narrative needed more description to fill in missing blanks while those blanks were already filled for the Boyle paper for me. In all honesty I figured the narrative was easier because all you were doing was telling your story but then again with the Boyle paper all that was really needed to be done was express your point of views and then give quoted text giving reasoning to your points. All in all though I believe the narrative was easier just because of the fact that it didnít consist of looking back over anything to find more supportive information. This still is the case considering I made a lower grade than I had hoped for on the narrative. For the strengths of the Boyle paper I believe I had quite a few of them. I simply went with the method mentioned of observation/quotation/explanation for every example I had in the paper. When using that method the hardest part was just finding quoted text that would support it and all that consisted of was re-reading some of the stories that you had chosen to write on. Another strength that I believe of my paper was that I managed to have plenty of quotes throughout the stories that followed with my viewpoints that I believe Boyle makes in his stories. Depending on what viewpoint you had made on the stories depended on whether or not you could have supported text from the stories. For a weakness in the paper as I was writing I constantly had a fear that when it came to explanation I hadnít explained well enough to support my claims and quotes. For the paper that was the main weakness that I may have had in the paper.
