Narrative paper/ Boyle paper

The Boyle paper and my personal narrative differentiated in many ways. It was much more effortless to write the Boyle paper. When I was writing my narrative, it was hard to come up with so many details. It was also hard for me to come up with something that had impacted my life and to tell what I had learned from it because I never really had anything to impact my life so much. Writing four pages on personal experiences is not the easiest thing in the world. When it came to writing my Boyle paper, all the information I needed was already there without me having to think about it. Four pages was a very simple task to accomplish because of the amount of things we had to discuss on our paper. I love having a lot of questions to answer when I write a paper. When you have a lot of questions to answer it makes the paper sound much more intelligent and full of information, but most importantly, it makes the paper longer. All I had to do was read the stories and understand them at every level possible. To me, it is much easier to talk about someone else stories than my personal life experiences. The strengths of my Boyle paper were definitely where I compared and contrasted both stories. I did a great job at analyzing the stories and explaining them with great detail. I struggled on describing the importance of the stories and on the way I formatted my paragraphs. When I read over my paper, it did not sound like it was flowing. Some of my information was not where it was suppose to be. I could not think of more than one reason as to why Boyle would write those stories. I was smart to choose Modern Love and Carnal Knowledge. Those two stories complemented each other the best. I feel like I did better on my Boyle paper because my narrative was not as good as I thought it would be. I hope that all the energy I used to write my paper does reflect on my grade.
