My process for writing my argument paper was a little more difficult than I thought it would be. I made it more complex than what it really was. My greatest challenge was that there was not as much information about my topic as I thought there would be. For me, there was too much reading involved. I personally hate reading. I have never read so much like I did for the argument paper. I should have started my research earlier than when I did. I hate research papers because you have to make sure that you are crediting the authorís words. I was getting aggravated because I kept reading the same information on every article I would read. I should have used the topic about models instead because there would have been a wider range of opinions. One of my major concerns is that I believe some of my examples were not good enough for my argument paper. So many articles had information that was not supportive at all. I also struggled on finding my print source. I found my print source last. It took me a process of a whole week to get all of my research together, but it only took me like three hours to type the paper. There were so many great ideas that I could have used for my paper, but it would have not fit my topic. I did a good job of using more information that I already knew, instead of using all of the authorís information. I should have done my topic about obesity instead nutritional guidelines. I hate the fact that most sources were not reliable. I should have used them anyway because they had great information, but I did not want to get a bad grade. Both of the sides I described on my paper had clear arguments. It was hard to choose a side, but I had to be an opponent. I really hope that the way I structured my paper was correct. A research paper can either be really easy or really hard. In my case it was really hard because this was only the second research paper I have ever written. I hope the time I spent on my paper reflects on my grade.
