I really enjoyed having your class this semester. English has never been my favorite subject, but this semester it was my favorite class. I really enjoyed the environment. Everyone had great personalities. I actually looked forward to going to class because I knew the time would fly by. What I learned the most from going to class was that practice makes perfect. I learned that you should always take a rough draft to your professor and not wait the last minute to start on an assignment. Procrastination will always hurt you in an English class. I loved your sense of humor. I also loved the fact that we never had tests in your class. I hated the way you graded our papers, probably because no one has ever graded my work so harshly. I should have gone to the writing center more often. I have always had amazing grades in English, but I am sure that will not be the case this semester. I am glad I did not drop this class, but I probably should have. I hate not making a good grade in my classes. I hope this last paper helps my grade. I need all the help I can receive. I am really mad at myself for not seeking help. I personally thought my papers were pretty good. I even asked my friends to read them and they agreed. That clearly told me that my friends and I need extra help. Having a discussion board every Friday was such a headache. Regardless of my laziness and me whining, I understand the purpose for everything that you told us to do. The free writes were probably a waste of time because I never had anything to write about. My previous English classes were much easier. I have never stressed so much over an English class like I have now. This class showed me that my past teachers did not teach me anything. I guess you were right. In high school they just want you to pass. I honestly do not think they care if we have any knowledge at all. I hate the fact that all of my papers were never good enough, especially on the ones that I actually tried on. Overall, this class was a great experience and you are a great, difficult professor.
