I feel positive about my paper but I always second-guess myself whenever I submit a paper. Did I have too little details or too much? What will the reader think when he/she reads this? These are just some of the thoughts that go through my head whenever I submit a paper. I think that overall my paper was good and I feel best about my conclusion. However, I am definitely concerned about my introduction. In my opinion, the introduction is the hardest part of the paper. I can say I definitely procrastinated my paper because I was dreading having to right the introduction. After writing and then reading my introduction I wasnít thoroughly impressed but I could figure out what to change. I wish I would have started my paper earlier, so that I couldíve gotten assistance on it but I am one of those types who writes better closer to the deadline. Unless it is quite a lengthy paper I wonít start until a few days before it needs to be turned in. As for strengths, I think I was really detailed in this paper without getting carried away. My paper was based off of a story and I think I told the story well. My vocabulary and word choice could have been better and I found myself having trouble with keeping the tense of the story the same. When I reread my paper I did have to make a couple changes and there were some sentences I just decided to remove. The format of my paper was me actually telling the story and then explained my points and how it impacted me. I concluded my paper by tying in everything, from the events of the story to the impact and how it changed me for the better. I had a pretty slow process when it came to writing the paper because I didnít even write a rough draft outline. I formatted my paper and just sat there and first thought about what topic I was going to write about. Once I decided on my topic I just let the thoughts flow and before I knew it my paper was complete.
