I think the lesson plan has some good characteristics and is simply done. Modeling from the teacher will definitely benefit Myra because of the guidance. I like that Myra is only working on beginning letter/sound for the new lesson.

Something that may need some modifications is to draw some connections to each of the pictures that relate to Myra's personal experiences. I think she would become more engaged with the lesson, and it may be encouraging to her to think of herself with the object pictured. For example, with the picture of the cat, "Remember how soft the gray cat was yesterday when you got to pet it?"

Overall, nice job.
