I too agree. I learned, and am continuing to learn about patience. I think one of the biggest struggles will be allowing students enough wait time, as well as prompting when teaching. I worked with a student with Autism in one of my field placements. He was bright, but took a lot of time to do assignments, especially when someone was working with him. When he was on his own, and would do work independently he would get it done faster, but often it was completely done wrong. Patience with him was so important. As teachers, we need to give students patience, prompting, freedom, rewards, and a whole lotta grace.
