Amanda, I really enjoyed learning about the components of reading comprehension as well. Of course I want to improve my students reading comprehension skills, but I did not know what all I should focus on. I would love to learn more about how to improve these skills and different strategies that teachers can use that focus specifically on each component. I have never heard them broken down in such a manner before, and it makes a lot of sense. I wish this class was a little longer so we could focus on each component.
