Lesson Plan Feedback: The Specialists

I really enjoyed reading your lesson plan and learning about the group of students it is based on. Thank you for including the standards because it gives us who are reading it a sense of what the objective of the lesson is in connection with the Common Core. Another aspect that stood out to me was how you included accommodations such as wait time which I believe would be very important when asking questions during the story.
One question I had though was how the nonverbal students were going to be able to answer and be engaged in the prior knowledge and introduction questions. Could you use sign or multiple pictures choices for them to use?

On an different note, is this group based on a real lesson and experiences? The class is very interesting and I did not know if anyone had worked with a group similar to this.
