Give a glow: I really loved how you included the checklist in this lesson plan. I think it is a good tool to use for this student and will help with time management. All of the choices you gave allowed the students to keep growing in their literacy knowledge. They seem relevant to the tasks they having been trying to accomplish. I like the way you were building background knowledge and the way you practiced inferencing with situations in their lives. I think making this connection is important for them. I thought you guys did a really good job on your lesson. It was easy to understand and I think anyone could move through it with understanding of what they were supposed to do. I like that you included the students interests, while still building upon their knowledge and working on their inferencing skills.

Give a grow: While I do not disagree with your method of choice if a student does not achieve the goal, I would have liked to read more about how this intervention would differ from the original instruction. I know you said they are different strategies and not reteaching but I would have liked to see an example, perhaps. What would be this corrective teaching strategy? I think you did a good job on your lesson I would have just liked to see this example.
