Individualized Lessons
Fri Jun 12, 2015 21:26

I definitely agree that students should have individualized lessons, particularly those with special needs. I was also really impressed by how well the teachers throughout the unit are able to quickly identify how each student works best. One example for me is Carl from the videos. The teacher understood that by slightly changing how the questions were asked, Carl was much more involved in the lesson. It seems like such a simple fix to make such a large difference in a student's education.

I agree that not all students learn the same way. I agree that the teacher should use what strategies work best for his or her students.
