I really liked that you mentioned the "TV interview" as a means of asking comprehension questions. As teachers, I think it's so important to never lose our creativity. I know I always here things like, "We have to teach to the test if we want our students to pass." While this is (somewhat) true, it's also important to pay attention to student interests and to make learning fun!
