I really like how you have generalized the interventions used on students with ASD for the rest of the classroom. Yes, students with ASD need the extra help and these interventions we have been reading about have been proven to work, but that doesn't just limit these interventions to students with ASD. All students can benefit from individualized instruction. Tapping in on student interest, extended time, and more explicit instruction on reading structure are all interventions that can be used for the entire classroom to enhance literacy skills.
