After viewing the video I also wondered if the student would have gotten the answers correct without so much teacher aid. I feel as though the question "how much help is really necessary" is a question teachers should ask themselves often. It is easy to see a student struggling and feel as though you should correct them quickly. I once heard that students learn through struggle. The area between the ability they currently possess and the challenge you have presented is the area they can grow. However, I also would like to know when excessive help is no longer beneficial. It's a great question, and I hope someone else kind of has an answer!
