Awesome plan.

I love how you were specific when you told us about the class so that we know exactly what types of learners we are going to be teaching. The lesson seems like it will be able to be completed and be beneficial to everyone in the class. This is also a very appropriate and fun subject for the lesson (who didn't love this story).

Your guided reading portion of the lesson was excellent, but my favorite part of your lesson is the writing connection at the end. There is more than one way to test comprehension and you will be able to tell if a student understood the book because they wouldn't write straw or sticks. This lesson is great because it focuses on so many skills that are essential to build a child's overall literacy.

My "give a grow" would be to offer the suggestion of specifically adding a prediction question to the end of page comprehension questions. When you ask them what happened, ask them what they think will happen on the next page. This will keep them interested and then they will get to see if they are right every page (this will also reflect back to their initial prediction about what they thought the book was about and they can compare).

Great job!
