I had these exact same thoughts as I was watching this video. Seeing that the student understood the concept of the activity, I feel the person in this video may have provided too much correction and guidance than she should have. It also led me to question how much the child actually knew and how much he showed, because of prompting. I think its important to provide prompting to least extent possible in order for the child to be successful, yet still make some mistakes to learn from. Great point made!
