I like the way you used a text book as the text and a Venn diagram for a graphic organizer to achieve comprehension of the text. I think students often get overwhelmed with a text book and all of the information it gives the students. I like that the text was at the students instructional reading level because most text book stories are not at the studentís instruction level. I think it is important for students to be able to read the text to obtain comprehension. Using a graphic organizer is a great way for students to organize the information given in the text which leads to comprehending the text.
