Stacy- I love your post and couldn't agree more! This week has been very eye opening in how to engage our students in writing without putting boundaries on their thoughts and writing skills. I have learned this week to find how the student best engages in writing and ways to teach based on their interest. I am excited to change my ways of thinking about how to teach writing and allowing my students to explore their thoughts in many different ways through writing. I think it will be awesome to see what kind of results we get from implementing the methods we have learned this week. So excited! :)
