I also learned a lot from this module. There was so much to be able to apply as well as a lot of stories and examples of how teachers teach children with ASD how to write. You have a lot of great keys points that you summarize. What struck me the most was about your friend Aubry. I think that it is great how the vocabulary words are practiced in plays instead of matching the definition to the word. This makes it a lot more practical and meaningful. They are more likely to use the words that way because they have practiced saying them. I hope to remember that for future English lessons. Learning these words will also improve their writing!
