Overall, this is a really great lesson plan. I liked how it involved students opinions. I felt like this made it focused more on writing comprehension instead of worrying the student about whether or not they were getting the answer right. I also like how it involves whole group discussion as well as small group discussion. This can stimulate their thinking skills and help with creativity when forming sentences and peer discussion. The only suggestion I have would be to add some additional support for the student with ASD. Perhaps add some pictures, or ask him for simple describing words that relate to his opinion. Great work!
