I really found myself thinking about the statement that you made in one of your first sentences; "they have so much going on in their heads." From this unit, and even those in the past, we have learned that a graphic organizer or visual model such as a circle graph can really help individuals with ASD organize their thoughts. This helps with writing as well as thought organization in general. In one article, I learned that the use of venn diagrams help with comprehension and most students don't need to use the physical model to maintain the same knowledge after a few weeks.
