I think that in order for these students to be able to understand the spell check, we need to teach them. Just like we as educators would teach them any other thing I think we need to teach them about spell check and how to use it in order to help them. Modeling this for them in a way that they would learn and understand so that they are able to use their AAC devices correctly.
