The first thing I noticed was that your lesson is designed for high school aged students. I feel that this age is the hardest to plan for, but reading further into your lesson you all did a great job. I love that you used pin pals to not only encourage, or entice, but also to teach social skills. This is a great way to blend functional, and academic skill instruction. I really would have liked to see a visual model for sentence structure in the lesson. There is definitely specific spacing that needs to be followed, and a visual for this would have been a great resource. Finally I like that this lesson allows students to reflect on their work. I love how you give students opportunities to edit and even add more ideas throughout then week.

Overall very nice but may need more visual aspects when teaching children with ASD specifically. For example having the class write one together to then other class as a whole may have given a model while participating in guided practice before independent work.
