This brings up a great point, when in doubt, just ask. Sometimes it can be that simple. I have been on this kick about coming up with concrete strategies to work with students with ASD. However, Chris Varney reminded us that every child experiences ASD differently. What works for one child, may not work for another, no matter how similar they may seem. Simply asking the student to give input can go a long way. This is a great strategy for fostering learning in their lives!
