When reading the original post I was thinking about how to connect the interest of one child to broader interests and lead them new and exciting topics which may hold their attention. I have never heard of "trails" before but it is the perfect way to describe the process. Is this a concept you have learned about or made up on your own? I wonder if it would be possible to find a way to connect the interest trails of two students to encourage them to expand their individual interests.
