This is so true as well. I agree that we have to know our students' personalities and not force them to do something they dread. Instead, we should find another way to help them learn and practice skills. This might sound corny but like the saying goes "where there's a will, there's a way." We have to connect with our students and build trust; this is especially important to do with students on the autism spectrum. Thanks for your perspective!
