Balancing Act

When I have worked with students diagnosed with ASD, I felt like I was always balancing what I wanted them to do with what they wanted to do. Some of my students were so easily frustrated that a tantrum could start within seconds of a request that wasn't presented in a certain way. It is difficult with students with ASD because every one is very unique.
