I was first introduced to Temple Grandin in Dr. Marlowe's class and I love her! I have worked with students with ASD who have been told that they are different in a negative way. She puts a new twist on things and she does not view her differences as weaknesses. I agree that everyone has different strengths and weaknesses and that we as teachers must cater to these. We also need to ensure that our students are not seeing themselves or their differences in a negative light.

      Temple Grandin has always been a favorite of mine and always an inspiration! I love her outlook on things and I also appreciate her views on intelligence being different! She is a role model of mine!
