I love the point you make about teaching children with Autism explicit instructions on how to do things, such as flipping through a book from left to right. I had never thought about the differences between children who are not on the spectrum and children who are, as far as how they are taught certain things. As you said, most children would just watch and learn behaviors like flipping through a book by modeling or learned behaviors. Students with autism or who are on the spectrum need to be explicitly taught this action. I had never thought about that before!
