Dr. Koppenhaver,

I agree with you response that schools are so quick to teach to labels. I wonder what are the most effective way of breaking these stereotypes and misunderstandings? Your research has opened up my eyes and I now understand that just because a child has a particular diagnosis does not mean we have to teach in limited ways. I feel that we, as a society, put limits on children with ASD.
