That's a good point. I've actually never thought about this happening, but I would say that teachers need to just continue to teach a variety of words starting with that particular letter and hopefully it will prevent logo strategies from turning into negative strategies. For example, if a teacher is teaching on the word B, she may use "Bojangles" (a fast food restaurant) as an example, but also include other words like, "bat," "box," "bunny," and so on. This way the child does not just associate B with bojangles but with other objects that start with a "B" as well.
