Both responses to your question Megan are very good ones. Technology will play a major role in assisting us as teachers, and learning all these strategies that are new to me helped me see that simple steps put together can significantly improve understanding. My thought to add to this comes back to what was said in the lecture about offering ASD children as many books as possible. 1500 in a classroom is the goal. I mean each book is a new world and the more books available to them to practice can build connections between them while practicing (CROWD) and (CAR). I especially appreciated learning the specifics that ASD students respond to and what they don't do well with, for example (WH) questions.
